Madrid International Sevens

In February 2021, with the World Sevens Series suspended from March 2020, KiwiHouse was appointed by FER and World Rugby to organise and run a two-week International Sevens Tournament.

Following the COVID protocols established by both the Spanish Government and World Rugby, KiwiHouse was responsible for creating different bubbles in which the teams could live and train for two weeks with low risk of contagion.

The bubbles were created by organising the teams into groups of two/three and separating them by venue. In the different venues, each team had their own schedules and facilities which were disinfected before and after each use.
